Well assuming this IS your very FIRST laser then its not that bad actually

id give it a 6 out of 10 as it does show many good attributes of a good laser

Things to change-

your beam is two pixels wide and you have 17 pixels of PCLN with 15 of those firing directly into void

by better use of insl you can fully insulate the emitter end of the laser and even get a little more heat into the beam

the large chamber lined with void in unneccasary , if you surrond the pcln with soemthing then it only projects in a straight line like this: [] = INSL P = PCLN

and the pscn/nscn still conduct to the pcln through the insl





that should be sufficent to greatly improve your laser

or use more gol i suggest using uranium or plasma but i use both and made it max temp so check it out and tell me what you think.
