    0. Make a BCOL source
    1. Make a PIPE, from the source to anywhere else, make sure it can transfer some BCOL
    2. Save it to disk (as cps file)
    3. Load from disk
    4. Watch your BCOL burning itself

This can be reproduce steadily. The same with FSEP

What's wrong with the PIPE: Seems if there's some combustible powder in the PIPE when you save, the powder in the PIPE might occasionally convert to fire upon your loading. When it comes out, accident happened.

P.S. The FIRE always first appeared at the edge of PIPE

No, BCOL doesn't start burning because of heat. Also, ambient was off for me both times.

@baizuo I tried this too, and it happened. Weird...

i think it's because they change the life of bcol to 0 which let it combust itself just like when you set the type of metal to become coal (then it also combust's).

    Yes
Draw some BCOL, !set life bcol 0, it burns
That's what PIPE did to a newly loaded save's powder, thus caused combustion.
@Cracker64 : Is there any way to fix it? It may ruin some design
