Sends out a thick beam, three pixels wide which can be heated. (With some gaps, sadly)

Anyway, just a question: How can I make a solid beam that has no gaps but colored? As FILT seems to make gaps in it :/

And preferably a changeable color, so when it's hot it turns red and when cold(er) it turns blue?
