Idk if i'm posting this in the right place but it seemed as good a place as any to post it. I wanted to start a group but i don't know how (other than just make a save about it). How do i make it official on the website and what's the best way to make a save about it when ur no pixel artist and terrible at making things look at least somewhat good with the deco editor? Also, do groups tend to only grow big when their leader is known of tpt, because I'm not known (i hav had 2 fp though and one is one front page right now) and want to know what my chances of having a good group are? And how do groups communicate and work together on saves (do they email each other .cps files)? I was hoping that my group could specialize in electronic stuff so i could get help with more complicated things (I can make electronic stuff but fail if it's complicated, like i did with my calculator). an example of me failing would be:
I'm not really a noob but i'm not "top dog" either when it comes to electronics. you can look at my profile to see my other creations that involves electrical stuff. If i did make figure out how to make this a group and made it specialize in electronics how well would it probably do?
edit:
how do you do the thingy where it shows your save instead of just say "View Save ####"?
Groups probably have threads to communicate in.one would post a save and another member would add to it then post an updated version then another member would add on to that one and so on and so on.
I'm excellent with electronics and decent with the deco layer.
you can view saves like this: ~ 716820 and ~ 716820
just remove the spaces between ~ and the save ID.
If you want to start with an electronic save for a group then you need to give each member a role and everyone needs to know what the other one is making and how their inputs and outputs are set up.one can be setting up a dram memory/storage device while another one could be working on the display or timing/calculation mechanism.
I'm in the middle of working on the group save. It doesn't look too fancy but it'll do. Right now it's called electronic club (i couldn't think of a better name. The only other thing that crossed my mind was Eever-Leading Electronics Club). The logo is currently a 3-D E C (guess what it stands for) and I'm about to create the specialties. I'm also gonna add links to the three highest voted saves related to electronic by members of the club. DCBloodHound, since u said u would join an electronic club and are better than me at it, wanna be a co-leader?
