    Because the lower the pressure, just like in real life, the boiling point of stuff goes down.
    In a vacuum there is no pressure and water will instantly become steam...even at room temperature!

    Also, if you ever get your hands on a vacuum pump and chamber: it's not a good idea to put your cup of cappuccino in there and suck all air out.

    Not everything will follow realism, some things in this game are realistic.
    Many things in this game aren't.
    I could give a massive list of unrealistic things.
