i would really find it useful if you added stuff like...
-radio waves/microwaves (work kind of like wifi) -sound waves (could break glass, speeds up in water and travels through matter) -plastic -rubber (would float on water and bounce when it hit the ground, could be flammable) -fabric (would absorb liquids and release them when heated/ used as insulator) -limestone (makes glass stronger) -nitrogen (only have liquid nitrogen) -clouds (would create rain, snow or maybe thunder) -bone/calcium -non breakable glass -animals which interact with the environment (like stickmen) -springs -lasers (super heated light which could cut diamond) -mirror (reflect light and lasers) -a device which stabilizes pressure (controls the pressure in a certain area)
If radio waves work like WIFI, why not just use WIFI? Sound waves have been suggested quite a lot recently, its the same as pressure. Plastic, suggested so many times Rubber. MOVING SOLID! Fabric-Similar to SPNG Limestone-Hmm, doesn't sound too bad but I can't think of any uses Nitrogen- I think this has been suggested before, and it would mean that liquid nitrogen could no longer be used as a cooler with no products. Clouds-Suggested before Calcium-Uses? Non-breakable glass I believe has also been suggested before. Just use diamond. Animals-Just use a stickman, and uses? Springs-See rubber Lasers-you can make your own using photons Mirror-You could just use diamond Pressure stabiliser-PUMP
-radio waves/microwaves (work kind of like wifi) This would be awesome actually but, no one's coded this in and made it look awesome yet. If I understand what you mean this would be like, instant transmission of heat or radio waves, but I'm not certain what people would use radio waves for like this that they don't already use wifi for.
-sound waves (could break glass, speeds up in water and travels through matter) ...We already have this, technically. Press the 0 key while playing, whenever there is sudden movement or explosions, there are massive shockwaves that do actually penetrate solid mass. A little, anyway. It's enough to break glass.
-plastic We used to have this element. I think something went wrong and it was abandoned for some reason.
-rubber (would float on water and bounce when it hit the ground, could be flammable) Elements that bounce aren't really feasible yet. We would have to have some form of moving solids code in for this to work.
-fabric (would absorb liquids and release them when heated/ used as insulator) This is Sponge element actually. It isn't a perfect insulator though, since if it were, it wouldn't be able to absorb heat to release water.
-limestone (makes glass stronger) ...This might be cool actually, but I can't think of many cool uses for reinforced glass or limestone.
-nitrogen (only have liquid nitrogen) Maybe, but it probably wouldn't be on the menu. Dunno, maybe someday. We already have enough solid stuff.
-clouds (would create rain, snow or maybe thunder) I've wanted an element like this for the longest time, but we already have pretty complicated mechanics between Fog, Rime, Steam, Ice, and Water. I'm not really sure if we can fit a Cloud in there.
-bone/calcium What would this be fun for?
-non breakable glass This would sort of defeat the utility of having glass.
-animals which interact with the environment (like stickmen) Maybe @_@
-springs See Moving Solids
-lasers (super heated light which could cut diamond) 1. Diamond is a utility element which is supposed to be indestructible. 2. We already have super-heated light in this game which serves this exact purpose. Search for Laser in game.
-mirror (reflect light and lasers) Diamond works for this actually
-a device which stabilizes pressure (controls the pressure in a certain area) Though slightly glitchy, PUMP element does exactly this. You can increase and decrease pressure locally using even a single particle of PUMP by changing its temperature.
@tavninder(View Post) Microwaves/radiowaves: Hmm.... I've always liked the idea of the electromagnetic spectrum in tpt but you haven't put the uses. 1. Element name + shortened version. 2. Menusection. 3. State: Solid/liquid/gas/energy type. 4. Propeties: Heat conduction, Spawn temp, conductive?Colour .ect 5. In-game description. 6. Full description of what it does. 7.USES There are some more I think but plz list these when suggesting an element.
