Starting a Mod

    Which Mod should I base My Mod on? I'm not revealing the name of mine though. Any ideas? I tried Powder SIm, but when I compiled it had tons of errors. ??!!??

    You should try and compile a clean run of an unmodified source, then try and code your own elements.

    Too bad that it is under the GPL license and as such you have no right to infringe on the right of others as to modifying the source code distributed with your modification. Please remember that the code you based your mod on has been worked on by many individuals, not all remembered by the community and as such you did exactly what you wanted to refrain him from doing and in doing so you made yourself look like an idiot, both because assuming he would use your modification because of its alleged superiority and because of the previously mentioned reason that your modification is based on the ideas and work of others.

    Due to GPLv2-3, you've surrendered your mod to open-source. You can claim ownership but he's free to use your code.
