This is just a small sideshow I made displaying some of the different uses of compression. basic, easy tutorial has been ripped from BEngineer's tutorial on making sonicboom guns, but credit has been given.

Things like accelerators, FRAY, repellers, and deaccelerators are all great uses of compression. Any material can be compressed this way, including solids, which I have compressed for strong, hard to break barriers.

Heaters and coolers can also be made with compression by compressing a lot of matter into a tiny space and then setting the temperature very low or very high, such that it becomes a resivoir of heat. Dmnd is advised for this task.

My designs are extremly basic but the method is sound. I cannot wait to see what others will come up with compression.
