save history doesn't work properly

If I click on the little calendar icon of one of my saves, I get the history of this save, but it is completely wrong:
The first save in the upper left corner is the current state of the save and the lower right is the very first version.
I make an example:
If you saved a save 100 times and open the history of that save, it will look like this (1 is oldest, 100 is current):
So you can not acces the version 99, and if you want to restore this version, what then?
But it should look like this:
Can anybody please fix that?

Here's how history is supposed to work: When you overwrite a save with a newer version, the old save is moved to history and the newer save takes the original place, when there's 20 saves in the history store, the oldest history save is deleted (this essentially caps the history saves at 20 items), for some reason, the server was deleting the newest backup rather than the oldest backup which is causing the behaviour you describe, this has been fixed.
