They say new additions to TPT arent allowed to break saves... yet the new update that makes sponge no longer movable breaks a few great saves... like "forlockheedmartin" the rocket save that topped FP for a week!

I was personally against the fix that allowed saves from older versions to preserve that glitch artificially, actually. There is a limit to how awesome reverse compatibility can be.

..Also, the default front page time is exactly one week >.>

I'm aware of the 1 week limit... im just saying it is impressive to remain #1 for a whole week.

This glitch was in the game so long that it wasn't really a glitch any more. I don't know why it wasn't fixed as soon as it was discovered, it's only caused by tpt.el.spng.loss being 1 instead of 0 I think, which is a simple fix for something that didn't have much use then. In the end, maybe it should have stayed though. It was fixed because of a glitch with GEL, but the GEL glitch was later fixed and the SPNG glitch wasn't brought back even though it didn't matter anymore.

Wasn't the console command '!set spng fx' or something like that?

It was !set vx spng 1 or whatever you wanted. It can still be done with GRAV

!set vx and vy, respectively "velocity X" and "velocity Y". In pixels/frame.

Yeah still, why would you want to get rid of it? Could you adapt it maybe, make it move? It hurts me.. deeply (corny "don't let me go" attempt).

It was gotten rid of because it was an unintended glitch that's existence didn't justify keeping it. I wasn't the one who fixed it though, so. :P

here is an alternatve to moving sponge with deco! but its not working with fire-, blob- and fancy-display because of the glow effect. example:

it would be nice if we could set the glow effect off with tmp2 or something like that..
