Just for you guys that haven't noticed yet, whenever you see particularly bad saves on front page, make sure to check to see how many votes they have.
...It is usually an indication that the vote bottom line is 5, 4, sometimes even just three votes. Take advantage of the moment and try to get your own stuff there, don't waste your time commenting on saves that only appear on front page because of one or two votes. :P

Anyone who has ever cared about getting front page with a decent save has done so by now, this is like saying: "Howdy there! Come get your achievements in a can, as they are buy-one-get-one free!" If anyone on here was desperate enough to get front page with a meager 4 votes, well, that's pitiful.

Often my saves go to mid front page in a couple days and then go off with 20 or so votes. My most successfull save got over 100 votes even tho it wasnt much more than walls and portal :P. I wish the old FP system was still there where saves were ranked purely by votes in the week... in that case you had to have quite a few votes to get up there. This new system works for those desperate to get their name out there... but it makes users with more experience cringe.

If you think it's crazy that that got 100+ votes, my most successful save got 100+ votes and it's just using dmnd and glas to separate white light into its separate components. I mean, I'm not complaining that I got a lot of votes, there's just more deserving saves out there (other peoples, as well as mine). I built a calculator that adds, subtracts, multiplies, and even checks for errors, that only has like one-fourth the votes of that save. What people vote for the most, amazes me sometimes. -
I think that moderators should choose saves for Fp. Saves that are good but not voted on don't make it, while interesting but dumb saves make it.
