additional "tmp 4" setting for FILT

    Hello,

I've been experimenting with FILT, and thought it would be neat to have another tmp setting that would "subtract" colours from the beam of PHOT (that are the colour of the FILT), BUT the subtracted beam would reflect off of the FILT instead of being absorbed. Another way to describe this idea is basically a reverse, reflective version of the tmp 1 setting.

The effect I'm after can also be illustrated by the tinted lens effect found in some optical instruments, such as some binocular models:

The lenses used in them have a special tint that reflect some of their own colour, but lets other colours through, I've been doing some research, but can't find the technical term for it. I think it is used to aid haze or something, not sure. If you've ever looked through any optical instrument that have a "red" or "orange" tint, you may've noticed that the image appears slightly "green". this is exactly the sort of effect I'm suggesting, and I think it would be cool & useful to have.

Yes, but you won't have the same effect, because that only reflects half the photons, not the subtracted colours. But thanks for the feedback.

This is basically how light "REALLY" acts. I like it.

This sounds very cool, gives an in-depth perspective, as well as making it as fun.

it would also be great if the phot/filt relationship worked with bray ;)
