Open-source the server as well?

I think the server that hosts the simulations and stuff should be made open source as well. It just makes sense. You could even use it to have your simulations accessible on all your computers if you want, even when you don't have an Internet connection. What do you think?

There are some pros and cons with the server being open source.
For a con, one would need to write infrastructure code to keep save IDs consistent and to give people the chance to go from one server to the other, which wouldn't accomplish much if all saves are synced anyways, the current server handles the load well enough.
For a pro, it'd allow larger groups to have private servers that do more. Though they can already...
