    Gold is a dense, soft, shiny, malleable and ductile metal. Gold dissolves in mercury, forming amalgam alloys. Gold is a good conductor of heat and electricity and is unaffected by air. Gold can be meltable but hardens again when submerged or treated with water.

    Color: bright yellow (gold color basically)

    Solid

    Melting Point: 1,064°C (1,100 TEMP)

    Boiling Point: 3,080 K (3,000 TEMP)

    Can conduct electricity

    Those first three lines are from Wikipedia. Directly. I just took those off of there and seen they match EXACTLY to this thread post.
