I'm new here, and is learning from others' saves now For particles, mouse over shows the temperature, pressure, and it's name; but only pressure shown when you mouse over a wall I know they have different looks and colors, but the color rather similar, sometimes I can't make sure what it is, thus a bit harder for me to understand the save
Any way to find out the type of the wall one save used?
btw, I'm using AntB's mod, if I made something using some materials only exist in this mod, can I upload/save my map on serve? If so, what would happened if someone using original game download it and run?
the wall mouseover idea is pretty neat, for now just have the wall menu open and compare the colors from there to see what they do.
you can save from a beta, but only privately, meaning for other people to load it, you must give them the ID or link to the save from the website. And it will not run from the original 42.3, will give a newer version error.
Ark5 Nice to meet ya. I'm 白左(baizuo), if you can read :P
cracker64 This means if I want to create something for share, I can only build it in original TPT(42.3), while those saves under "F:\GAMES\AntB's TPT Fork\stamps" can only be played myself?
Basically, new releases can play everything, old releases can play only whats older than them, mods can play different things, depending on what the creator has updated it to include the latest elements. So I could open your AntB's mod file with my AntB's mod, but not a save from pilojo's mod. But with AntB's mod, I can load any save that ever existed in the official version.
bchandark I did some small experiments then confirm that Mod version based on 43 (it said so, however I thought 42.3 was the latest) can open every save except those from other mods Original one can not open the save from mod version, even I edit "stamps.def" file manually. Seems have to work with original TPT if we want our save can be played by most people
BTW,is there any way delete the files when delete the related save in game? I have only 2 save defined in stamps.def(which can import pressing K in game), but 20+ .stm files in stamps directory
