Solid Rocket Fuel (SLRK) - Expanded

Sure, we have exploding substances, and we also have slow-burning substances, but we don't have a slow-burning exploding substance. The solution: Solid Rocket Fuel (SLRK).

SLRK would have a solid form and a powder form (BRSR), and would burn just a little faster than coal, but with explosive force and minimal smoke.

In real life, solid rocket fuel is made from powderized Aluminum and a special Oxidizer, and has the consistancy of an eraser. Perhaps, just maybe, these two things could also be added, but mainly I want to see SLRK.

The game isn't based on real life substances and elements.  That's why usual elements from the periodic table aren't added in.  Besides, how would it be slow-burning and explosive?  What I am getting from it is that it slowly burns butr conyiuously releases high pressure while it burns.

Yes he means a substance that burns slowly but releases alot of pressure.

The good thing is little smoke and fire because that would just produce air drag and slow down the pressure.

I use gas, laced with noble. it is slow but burns constantly. I made a script to turn gas into gas:noble 3:1. it looks good (red) but isn't ejected from the rocket when burning high in the rocket. I like the SLRK idea.

ALTERNATIVE: use gas ice (change the ctype of ice to gas). It works well, better than regular gas, as it doesn't turn into oil while burning.

     THANK YOU!!! i agree completely.

i do agree with OP.   there should be a slow burning minimal smoke high pressure rocket fuel + oxidiser.

    this would be AWESOME.

So, becuase this has a bit of positive feedback, will its implementation be considered?

If a developer is willing enough to make it, possibly. But all work is currently being concentrated on improving tpt++. Maybe a mod might add it with enough persuasion
