PSTN "drill"

    ive been prototyping trying to acheve a working "realistic" drill, i tried to make PSTN push some void in order to absorve the particles, but no success so far, any ideas, solutions?

    pstn with pcln, void and thdr? that might work

    thdr wouldnt do the trick, its too messy, im trying to do a realistic drill that slowly makes a hole, thdr would just destroy everything, thanks for the idea though

    PSCN CRAY with ctype SPRK or BRAY. Use TMP value to set the lenght of the delete beam.

    interesting, i did not know that could be done, but that doesnt suit my needs, any other ideas?

    EDIT:

    ok, i figured out a simple way to go trough dust like particles, but still no clue on how to go trough solids, well that is without melting or breaking them

    i saw your save, its ok but im trying to find a way to "drill" trough solids, i already found a solution for powders(just put portal on the tip) actually, it seems somebody else found this out and is on frontpage

    you can use inportal and outportal and you can place inportal to the end of drill and outportal maybe in a box
