Mars III Spacecraft

(WORK IN PROGRESS, i need ideas for this ship)

Well, i guess *some* of you remember Mars II, which i failed to install a proper engine on it as i have little-to-no experience with engines that time, but for Mars III, it now has a working engine, can be reignited indefinitely, zero-emissions (using LOX as propellant, but you can substitute OIL or DESL for this) and can be started and stopped in a second.

Another thing is it's reactor, i've gotten enough know-how to make a small nuclear reactor to be used as a power source instead of the incredibly big solar panels, so the save can run faster since there's less particles in it. It's also compatible with ambient heat (doesn't melt stuff as long as its under control)

One of its features, its a cooling system for its hull, the craft was built to be as realistic as possible, to endure the harsh conditions of space, when ever its hull has electricity passed through it, it cools down (electricity can cool the hull down to a maximum of 200°C, turn it off so it goes back to its 21°C temperature), a automated cooling system is planned by using TSNS to generate electricity whenever the hull reaches a certain temperature.

    To-Do list:

    • Docking Module
    • Docking Port (one that actually works using CRAY)
    • Advanced Communications Aray
    • Backup Power Generator
    • O2 Generator
    • Electrolysis Module (perhaps, the hardest part)
    • Airlock (differs from the Docking Port)
    • WATR Dispensers (Using SPNG to store more water than carrying it in a large resevoir)
    • A gas detector that can be extended from the ship
    • A instrument aray (thermometer, pressure detector, etc)
    • A seperate craft, a lander, as this thing can't land on Mars but acting as a mothership
    • A device to equalize O2 and CO2, i don't like a pure-oxygen atmosphere as its flammable

What about plasma engines, can i build you a custom fit version for your ship? Remember noble gases aren't hard to find or contain( keep it away from electricity!)and require no cooling system (the ionization chamber will require a cooling system but I can do that)

What do you think? Perhaps a prototype I can build?

Oh and p.s. I'm looking to join the altea aerospace group, and I've sent in a request form, how long does it usually take?
