Well, I'm gonna start off with a very basic flamethrower I created. All you need to do is light the gunpowder on fire, and add electricity. This is just with two days of playing with Powder Toy, so I hope to vastly improve the design and make a really good blowtorch.

Okay fine, my first creation in TPT was a flamethrower too(never published it).

I'll tell you a few things on improving this:
1) put a small amount of gunpowder and only a small box(about 1/4 the size of this) is required.
2) use just 1 clone and try to make it a proper circle/square.
3) put PUMP(in the powered elemts menu) on on end and press "~" to bring down the console. then type "!set temp pump 9999" and press enter. now the pump will ignite the gunpowder and fling the fire in the other direction.
i can tell you how to make a way better flamethrower(more like a plasmathrower) if you want to.

Thanks for the tips! My friend told me about an energy shooter he made, so I think that's my next project after this.
