Can you explain what you said a bit more clearer? if you are talking about fusion guns, it's perfectly possible, as proved by jont(although that is exploding SING). It is possible to make a fission gun that shoots out deut and neut to achieve a fission explosion and the target using cray.

 Yeah I guess you could make a gun where it combines NEUT and ELEC to shoot out HYGN, but that's not very interesting.
