okay, so my problem here is that I am creating a compressed system involving tesla coils with a significant amount of power per shot, but the mechanism I am using near this tesla is being destroyed by the tesla itself, so my question is, how do you block tesla blasts?

NEW IDEA ALERT!!! Since there is literally NO possible way to stop lightning, we need a wall that blocks lighning! uses: as listed above

    Use void.

    ^has that been tested?

*edit, just applied it to save, I had never realized void did that, thank you!

I just added VOID, BHOL, PVOD, (maybe something else), and walls blocking lightning in a recent version, so it hasn't always done that. But it is nice to have it do that now.

Edit: alright, not walls. I can do that though later if I feel like it, although a lot of saves rely on it going through everything.

is void pushable by piston, when I add it, my pistons stop working and if so, is there another element I can use?

PSTN can push VOID without any problem. There is no other element other than PSTN that can push and pull materials.
It seems like it's the diagonal line of VOID that is causing the problem.Removing it will fix it. Also, some of the lightning sparks the PSTN controls, making it go up and down erratically.

No, in a recent update, pstn will stop pushing when it hits its ctype and in here all the pistons have a ctype of void so thats whats causing the problem.

Edit: But your solution also works.
