Updating creations

Why, when I make a small change to a save I made a while ago, does the now-modified save appear on the 'by date' saves list as if new again?

Not annoyed, I just wasn't expecting all of my saves to clog up the 'by date' saves list when I update all of my saves subtly.

    Not anymore :D

BTW this was used to "bump" saves and thus gain more attention in malevolent ways. It has been disabled now. :D

wrong ... it does. It would be really annoying to have it disabled, then the front page would be really bad, and very few people do what you say in bad ways.

If you haven't saved it recently and it's been a bit since the last time you saved it, it will bump it up to the top of by date. This is useful so people can know when saves have been updated, if you make a change to an old save you obviously will want people to see. If you make minor changes to all your saves though, they will all be bumped. I suggest you don't do that then, and instead slowly resave some things to not clog an entire page of by date.

Nope, they made it so that when you update a save it will get to the ''by date'' page, but if you update them too frequently they wont get to the ''by date'' page.

that person who truthfully thinks they can benifit from the exploit
...yep I'm actually going to spend the majority of my day bumping my save so that it gets more attention.
    this is great.

"fixed"? That's been a thing in tpt since the front page was created. Even when I first made an account, I quickly realized that's just the way to get front page and get your save noticed (I wouldn't have gotten front page otherwise). It's better now, since it prevents spamming, but still allows you to get your save noticed in game without spamming ads on all the saves (which is against the rules). You can't just bump your save every 20 minutes anymore ... it's much longer than that

Yes it was a thing but didn't holy overlord $developer decide to disable it from happening and later on re-enabled it ?
