Making a bunker - Ideas and help

Post any ideas you have for making a tough bunker using destructible materials, including formation, material types, defence mechanisms, etc. Im will try to use them in my bunker if they are good!
-For wiring use a GOLD and MERC combination and INSL and TUNG on the outside for durable wires that carry current quickly and are fairly hard to destroy.

No you can grow quartz with out salt water. All you do is set the ctype and life to what ever you want and then let it do it's work.

Good ideas, i like layering too. BIZR and PSTE are good because they activate quickly as a bomb detonates and when activated are almost indestructible. Check out Ultimate Nuclear Bunker if you find it to see what I mean. And everybody, dont just post ideas for how to make it tough post ideas for things to have inside such as a water and air generator plant and a power station. Also what about a bray-aray shield system, its very effective.

If you want to be REALLY mean, you can use super-compressed MERC heated up to room temperature and constanly being SPRK-ed near a pixel of SHLD. That mixture is virtually impossible to get past, even with BOMB or DEST.

However, PROT will penetrate that easily. One could place layers of INSL in their bunker to try and prevent this, but the heat from the explosion might destroy the INSL, by melting the material around it into lava, which then sets the INSL itself on fire.

If you put layered compressed shld-merc in front of insl, it's impossible to destroy unless the bomb generates heat, pressure, and lava. I've also seen MORT used a heat sink--mort-ttan mesh cools itself down quite well. Also, vibr armor is good at absorbing bomb blasts, as long as the armor underneath can withstand the blast of the vibr itself.
Ideally, I'd try:
VIBR
INSL (thin)
TTAN/MORT
INSL (thin)
SHLD/compressed MERC (sparked)
TTAN/PSTE/BIZR
and maybe a few more layers.
For inside, I'd do compressed gases (I.E. LOXY and LN2), and a simple water purifier. Maybe also a reactor/generator?

MERC life 60000 and tmp 9999. Inclose it with ttan so none leaks out.
BIZR, C-5 and PSTS work well
VIBR with bcln(cflm) temp 0 below works.
Or merc tmp 9999 completly sparked with the spark life 9999999
(solid spark)
QRTZ with diffrent ctype to grow
SWCH,BRAY,PUMP (Can be dissolved by acid, kinda cheap)

1344965View Save 1344965Layering C-5 and gold with bizr in the middle (C-5 on top) will for some reason heat up the bizr to bizs.
Layering TTAN and SHLD then sparking it works well.
You could layer more elements but risk reaching particle limit (Bad for compressed bombs)

I think VIBR is a good idea with a BIZR layer after so the heat of the VIBR doesnt go far. Also I cant seem to get MERC that has 60000 life to spark, so any solutions?
Also I think a good idea would be to have defenses, a detector on the surface for pressure and temp, which then sets off defences such as bray lasers to destroy bomb material or electron dispensers to neutralize neutrons?
For the inside im thinking of having a generator powered by nuclear fission/fusion, a temperature and pressure regulating system, a sprinkler system and water system with a water purifier, and maybe a self destruct.
