So....I've made a laser with a new super ARAY heating mech, maybe we can somehow fix it and discuss the flaws? The only bug it has right now is that it only works in burst beams, you can remove the dlay part and it doesn't conduct heat the next time you start it up, so it only works in bursts. Here it is

Compact (Width wise)

High heat

New heating mech

Cons

Only effective in bursts

Particle order makes it odd to use

Can only be efficiently heated more by making it longer
