A Couple of Ideas

I very much like the powder toy. It is fun a game where you can build whatever, with almost no bounderies. I made an account a while back, and I have some ideas of what I think would be a great addition to The Powder Toy.

    1. First of all, there needs to be a way to restore saves to their previous states. I can't tell you how many times I have messed up one of my saves, and, in an attemp to hit the "Reload" button, I accidently press the "Save As" button.

    2. Secondly, I think there should be a command particle. I think that this block should be set to a specific command, and, when sparked, it should execute that command.

    Other Element Suggestions:

    1. Gallium: a liquid that turns into a solid at 29 degrees celcius. Kinda like mercury, but it can solidify.

    2. Magneesium: Everybody likes magneesium. It would be almost like solid thermite; a very high flammability value.

    3. Animals: I know that this is probably suggested by a lot of people, and I, too, think it would be very cool. If the game could have some stickman-like entities, it would make the game a lot more interesting.

That is about all I can think about. Thank you for your time and consideration.

It seems that these ideas have already been requested, many times over. Animals aren't in the spirit of TPT; I have seen it written that "It is The Powder Toy, not The Stickman Toy". Magnesium and Gallium don't seem interesting enough for TPT yet - they need unique functionality which only they can provide. Command particles using lua (if that is the correct spelling of the TPT command interface, there are so many different languages which have the same letters in different capitalisation) would allow trolls to use lua for external things, like file editting and virus infection. Online saves can be restored by selecting them and viewing the history. I don't know a way for local saves to be reverted, though.

     1. Use history and save your game often, the z button can only go back once, otherwise your computer would die, I think.

    2. This has been suggested before, it is said you can hack people with it.

    3. It is a powder simulator, not minecraft. There are already stickmen with ROCKET boots so.....

    4. Uses for magnesium and galium? The magnesium statement also should be changed, who says everybody likes magnesium? That is quite biased. Saying everybody likes cookies makes more sense, but that is still very biased :(

Thank you very much for the information! I can now restore all the saves I thought I lost. I still do think a command particle would be pretty cool, though. I like to play around with the different properties of elements and am not too fond of lua. And whenever I try to hit the wave key, i almost always hit the f1 key and "windows help and support" comes up.

Although magnesium could be useful as a fire starter, or lots of other things if it burned at maximum temp.

As I said, you can apparently be hacked with a command block.
