Basically, while using IDs to browse saves, I came across one which supposedly was made in 1969. (ID:146). Is this just me, or is something afoot?

The oldest save actually goes back to 2007 or 2008. Skylark created the game and hosted a server back then. If you use the search bar, jacksonmj made a directory with a full backup of the saves that Skylark sent him.

The game was actually retrieved with the moon rock that Apollo 15 brought down. The source code was originally embedded in carbon molecular binary inside the basalt.
