Some mods are compiled with Min-GW and some with Visual Studio C++, each is compiling other (but similar) way

Do you have a mac? (because wine is a .exe solution for mac)
If you do, you can (instead of using wine) compile the source codes yourself for mac, like dikzak said. Its quick and easy. ZebraineZ provided instructions on how to do it: https://powdertoy.co.uk/Forum.html?action=vthread&forum=5&topic=1880#msg26989
