Well, messing with life values kinda does that with 'dying' particles...
Interestingly, if the life value is set between zero and two, it behaves like normal. If set to 3, it disappears on contact with other particles without eating them, and if it is set to four or above, it will never disappear, leading to this. Also, as the AMTR continues to eat more particles, its life value rises.
