Grow the Community

I've been playing Powder Toy a lot over the years, and I'm suprised that the community is so small. I would love to see some video documentation on YouTube for beginners to go to. At the moment, I feel like beginners are a little overwhelmed by the amount of things possible, and they don't know where to start. I think I'll make a Powder Toy tutorial series on YouTube, but my channel isn't popular... at all. I need some help spreading the word. Do things like tell your friends about it and give them personal help on what they can do here. (Except for the people with no social life...you can just...play on! Yeah.)

    Specific Ideas:

    • A community-made Powder Toy intro video. Nothing too fancy, just something of the essence of the intro on this site's homepage.
    • Documentation and tutorials in the form of YouTube videos.
    • Keep making awsome stuff that is also user-friendly (remind people to click with SPRK and such)

That's all I have, tell me what you think we can do to make this a better community!

I have sent people email's, about it and featured it on Youtube... but some said bad comments about the game.

I, too have made YT tutorials, but I don't have a knack for souding interesting when I explain things. I could always try again though, maybe this time with a more organized approach.

Or... I can tell, a friend to make it happen. He's a user on here (He was at one point, active.) @lorddeath.

I need help with video making. I have FRAPS, but it doesn't record Windows 8 desktop, so I can't record Powder Toy. Is there free alternative? It doesn't need to record sound, I have Audacity.

Nevermind, I found a solution! Will begin video production!
