Layering stamps

I have a selection of alloys, saved as stamps and I want to layere them on top of each other to make a layered wall. These stamps are rather complex, is there a way of layereing them?

There is a way to layer elements, but its not super simple... You have to create PHOT, then create something on top of it, and then use the console to change the phot to whatever u want. That's how I did it years ago, there might be other ways now.

yes there is, but it is far more tedious. You use the coonsole to place diiferent elements into the same position. If you actually add more than 4 or 5 layers, you get a bhol.

    !set x all (number)
    !set y all (number)

To be clearer, I have 4 stamps. These are not my actual four, but are just as a demonstration:

Can I layer these stamps on top of each other?

That's going to be difficult... you'll probably have to layer each pixel one by one...

If they are only that small it should be easy and are all the same size, all you have to do is layer them one row at a time.

    1. First put down all the stamps then delete everything except the first row of each stamps. (rows are horizontal)

    2. Then type in the console !set y all 100

    3. Save it as a new stamp and clear the save.

    4. Repeat for each row of the original stamps.

    5. Take all the stamps you made for each row and put them together using the arrow keys.

In order for each stamp to be layered in the same order make sure that each time you place the stamps you place them in the same order (the first stamp you place will be on the bottom, and the last one will be on top).

Just to warn you layering things may make them seem to act different then before they were layered. Some things also do not work unless they are on the top layer (such as electronics).

You could also make a script. If you can somehow target one particle at a time within a selected area, then it would be possible. Lua is your best bet I think
