When do you start getting good?

I've been playing TPT for 3 years, and, while i've gotten better, the most complex thing i've made is a primitive vibranium annihilation reactor. There just seem to be so many mechanics and exploits to the various elements in TPT, if you are good, how do you do it? I think i'm going about getting better incorrectly. I can't help but feel left in the dust compared to the other creations I see almost daily. Any assistance would be appreciated.

It's all in the willingness to learn combined with patience and lots of free time. You can do literally anything with a combination of the three.

Take some time off everything else you do, and choose a complicated save, reverse enginner it and understand it. Then try to to make one on your own, with some changes to make it unique.
Soon you'll be getting your own unique ideas.

A month. I discovered that I could make super OP bunkers that are vitrually indestructable.
