Document #279, on the usage of MERC as penetration bullets.
This idea was the summary of composite information reported from spies stationed at the PTUL since 2013.
MERC is a dense liquid. Conductive, it is commonly used in thermometers, massive bombs generated from the magical power known as The Console, and electronic randomizers.
It has been known that MERC is dense enough to sink to the bottom of most powders. This can be used as a second-shot penetration bullet against GLAS, as demonstrated by PTUL testing using heavy CNCT bullets against ICE using specialized Simulated Spin Technology™.
It has been shown that when dense bullets pass through lighter elements, their potential destruction increases, as the dispersion of the otherwise extremely dense bullet's speed into the light element creates massive pressure. The weight of such elements will determine how long the bullet can disperse before it can no longer travel through the medium.
MERC, alone, does not have the potential to destroy GLAS. But since MERC itself can pass through BGLA, combined with information from the previous paragraph, MERC with FRAY alone can penetrate up to 25 pixels of GLAS! Using this technology, it can be used to circumvent naive methods of protection, such as small blocks of glass.
The development of a new technology in order to give compatibility of high-end gun technology to MERC starts on July 13, 2014. If successful, this technology could be used to destroy lots of materials; more than what guns are restricted to, hoping that one day new rifle technology matching that in Planet 327-TH's dominant species will be created, without the requirement of handling dangerous elements like BOMB and DEST.

(PTUL) Update One - APTG has begun constructing the base concept of the guns mentioned above. With this, we are very sure that spies did collect composite information from us.

Using the console, and the cyber manipulation of the top secret "tmp" value of MERC, this mysterious element can be made to expand exponentially upon release, and at at high temperatures, can mow through anything that gives way to the maximum possible heat in the Powder Universe. -
