    I figured this might be useful to someone - Unlike FILT with temp-controlled color, you can set the color of FILT using ctype - so I did.

    If you select all the colour bands in filt, It turns white/grey. When you set the colour with CTYPE, FILT loses the ability to change its colour by temp.

    this also happens in elements like BRAY and BIZR.
