How do I compile mods for mac?

    Guys, I desperately want a mod, but I use a mac, and I dont know how to compile (or even install) mods. COuld someone tell me how?

    I'll also compile mods for mac if you can't figure it out yourself. That guide should be pretty straightforward, especially if you have used the command line.

    Most of us here don't have Macs, which means we won't also be able to compile and test our mods on OSX, so support might be rudimentary. It's more likely that it works though than not.

    Protip: that guide doesn't work. I tried to fix it, and it definitely is closer to working than when I started, but following those instructions really don't work.

    well previously it was written for 10.9 but it suggested a lot of terrible things and i'm not sure the old guide worked. I know I removed the editing SDL source step (you don't even need to compile SDL) and the xquartz step (TPT doesn't need that on mac). It should probably work fine on 10.9 still ...
