Atomic mushroom cloud

The only explosive that I ever made which actually formed a realistic mushroom cloud was a giant ball of C-5 but when ever I try it with ordinary bombs, it just forms massive balls of fire. Of course, IRL mushroom clouds do form from fireballs rising and turning in a torus shape, forcing some cold air and dragging some smoke and dust upwards beneath the actual cloud but here it doesn't seem to work :P. Any ideas of how I can form one with normal fire and not CFLM?

A lot of people made it. BTW I can't open that link 4sum reason. wat I meant was with out any frames to make the shape or anything like that. Wat I was thinking was putting some cold, non-explosive gas, with powdder at the bottom  and detonating the bomb below. Wat I expect is it turning upwards as well as it forming a mushroom :P

gun,etc make a sort of mushroom like formation because of the way air preasure is simulated in the game. regular, directly applied fire and plasma just tend to form a blobby torch like shape though

high pressure bombs with fire and bcol inside. the bcol will fall and create the base of the mushroom, the explosives blows the upward fire sideways
