So I was just wondering who made the developers swich to FP system. I was searching everywhere and I was wondering if it was suggested to the Developers or how it can to be. I think FP started sometime in August of 2013 (maybe).
I don't know if it was a suggestion, but front page has been around since 2011. The first page used to just be the "by votes" page but it almost never changed. Having a front page was just an obvious thing to do.
