This is like dying earth, only with a different storyline:

The year is the day you die on. You have been killed and taken away from earth, and you have woken up in a weird forest. There is a door in front of you, and inside it, there is a huge mansion (a bit like doctor who, where the Tardis is small on the outside, but big on the inside), which is sort of never ending; every time someone enters, a new room is generated. around you, there is a forest which has lots of really weird things slapped together. The door is open, so you know what is in there, but when you look at the other side of the door, there is nothing there. You must either start a life in the mystical forest with bizzare stuff like pizza on trees, or go inside the mansion and look for advice there.

    Rules:

    • Be logical; don't just say stuff like "I built a door to get out of the house with some tools on the ground."
    • You are not allowed to start off with a big gang of friends, but you can still work with other players as you go along.
    • GRAMMAR FOR GODS SAKES!
    • Suggest more rules if you want...

    Here is a start:

I wake up in this weird forest, with a strange floating door in front of me that was left open, and inside I could see what looked like a big mansion made out of what looked like birch wood with blue pigment. I had a small look inside, and saw a man, who looked like he was in his mid 20s, who stared at me. When I saw that he had invisible feet, I kinda freaked out, and shut the door immediately. I explored the forest, and found lots of weird plants, insects and rocks. I even found a weird cross-breed with the colours of a brown and white cow, body of a pig and head of a sheep. It even had 8 arms! It just looked at me, and then walked past... That was weird. I heard footsteps, and when I walked further into the forest, I saw a dark figure that ran at me...

EDIT: Sorry if this is bad... I just wrote a 2,000 word essay about the hunger games.

    Yeah why not:

What... What happened? I can't remember a single thing other than working in my lab... Before one of the machinery goes haywire and explodes, impaling me with shrapnel. I can't even remember what I was working on... I wake up, with my face carresed by a gentle wind. I look around, there s nothing but a forest all around me, with a gloomy white fog engulfing it. I get up, my body feels stiff, tired and heavy, but I manage to shuffle my way to a birch tree and lean on it, trying to study the situation... What is this place? Am I dead? Is this the afterlife?

No, no. That can't be... I remember being through so much stuff and dying to a piece of faulty machinery was just... dissapointing. The feeling and thought of being dead scared me, yet was the only thing that conforted me in this weird place, knowing that my living Hell was over.

I lean against the tree and slowly curl up, until I'm sitting down, staring straight ahead. I still couldn't answer what this place was. I was able to notice things I hadn't noticed before.

I woke up in a small puddle of glowing blueish-green water, I was still wet, but I didn't care. If I was dead, I can't die twice from hypothermia. I walked up to the puddle and touched it. It felt more like jelly than actual water.

I get up and begin shuffling my way through the barren forest, seeing many weird things, like red frogs with 7 eyes, seagulls as big as redwoods, with beaks made of 2 pizza slices and flowers that were the size of a little rock, but had a pair of purple wings, for some reason, but they didn't bother me one bit, and I didn't bother them. I was too busy just walking and enjoying the scenary rather than trying to explain this place. All the time I spent as a mathmatician and a robotic engineer, I dedicated my entire life to trying to explain the unknown, but I just... couldn't be bothered anymore. This place was so melancholic, I just became sadder the more I stared into the white fog that covered the forest's floor.

And, just... No, I have to keep a positive attitude. Don't give up hope, there must be a way to get out of here, think Daniel (my actual name), think! You didn't get a master's in physics for nothing, you have to find a way out of here!

I snap out of it and begin to look around for anything that can prove to be remotely usefull. I look at my outfit, nothing major, lab goggles, long rubber gloves, boots and a labcoat, hidding a green buttoned shirt and some black pants. And... my belt! The belt is where I kept my tools, there has to be something over there, anything. I look through it and find... A screwdriver and a blowtorch... Not much, but I have to keep a positive attitude!

I begin to look around, trying to find any other person and I saw a guy walking through the forest. I was so happy to see somebody else around here, I couldn't think of any other things, I was overwhelmed with joy as I began to run towards him. He seemed scared when he saw me, but he seemed calmer when he noticed that I wasn't meaning any harm. I jump towards him in a hug and he pushes me away, saying:

'no, dude, I ain't into that sorta stuff'

I was so happy, I told him who I was and why I was so happy to see him, and he look kind of confused, before telling me his name... Darthan.

    Close to what?

As I was making my way through the thick fog with my new friend, the fog thickens and I lose sight of him. Where, did he go? I can't see him anywhere, what happened? I can't see a thing in front of me...

I try to take a few steps ahead before I trip on a tree stump and fall on my face in a small lake. The water was redish purple and it felt more like oil rather than water. The ground was really slippery and I fall again and with my mouth open, some of the water reaches it, tastes like strawberry jelly... The weirdness of this lake just bringed up the ever-so-lingering question of what was this place was.

I get up and make my way to the other side of the lake, and make it to the shore. On the shore laid a tree, with a sign taped onto it, saying:

DO NOT TOUCH. Not only will it kill you, it will hurt the whole time you're dying.

I didn't touch that shiet. I try to look somewhere else, but my neck was fixed in place, staring at the small tree. I try to walk away but it's like my feet are nailed to the ground. My hand rises up on its own, I try to pull it back but I can't. My fingers touch the tree and the bark begins growing along my arm. I try to pull out, but the tree was too strong, I fall on the ground and the bark continues to cover my body, numbing it until I can barely feel anything. I can still breathe, but it's all dark, I can't even open my eyes.

I hear something get closer, I try to mumble to it to stay away, but from mouth instead come the words:

    Help.... Me...
