What the tin says - PLEASE stop ignoring Magnets. The TPT wiki says that it requires a new fancy layer of magnetics that requires hard coding, but look at Philip153's locked post. You CAN use GRAVITY to make Magnets. I.e. It's like BHOL only attracting BRMT, BREL, and MERC (Just here).
TPT is a PHYSICS Sandbox game, as it says on the webpage, but as a physics sandbox it's lacking one important factor : Magnets. And stop saying that magnets are useless : It's just the meaning of a physics sandbox game having REAL physics. Also, you can make those awesome images of Iron powders enveloping around magnets.
I was about to post in feedback about the coding idea and Magnet elements, but I felt that this post would be
"inapporite" there, feedback is only for new elements.
So what the tin says - please stop ignoring magnet ideas and saying that they have no use. I always wonder : Why does a PHYSICS game doesn't have Magnets? Ever since I started doing that game. (I'm a old user : I just registered very latly - I think when I started this, the hidden menu was still there)
And I really don't want to see a
Locked by === : Rejected element.
So it's good even if you add magnets in 2050 AD, just do it please. And please don't ban me, I already got banned as Philip153.
And Fellow TPT Players, Please don't hate on me : I just wanted magnets and was frustrated at the staff just ignoring magnets
Making a copy of Newtonian gravity is not hard, but it is extremely pointless and has no use (:P). If magnets are ever added, they are unlikely to function in exactly the same way as Newtonian gravity.
(http://tpt.io/.254282 is a more interesting magnets idea, but is more tricky to do)
Magnets, how do they work?
