Disclamer: PLEASE MIGHTY JACOB1 AND LOCKHEEDMARTIN I BEG OF THEE TO NOT LOCK THIS THREAD I SWEAR I WILL BE A GOOD BOY.

Story: The date is August 21st, 2092 and very few of those still alive remember the anniversary of the battle that raged almost 20 years ago that changed the Earth forever, the battle of Paris; and even less remember what led to the Earth's downfall, until it reached the point where it is today, a broken, empty and twisted shell of what used to be a great civilization. Nearly 20 years ago, in the already wrecked Earth, scarred by the many wars caused by the dwindling resources, a greater, more enlightened civilization descends and quickly take over with their superior technology and better trained forces. The last battle of Earth was fought in Paris, where all of the remaining armies of the U.S., Russia, the E.U. and Israel banded together in a truely heart-warming attempt to put aside one's differences to work for a common goal. Too bad the aliens won and sealed the fate of planet Earth, bringing humanity to its knees in the course of little more than 3 weeks.

Now, 20 years after the events of the war, the Earth was turned into a true, planet-wide prison. Pollution from the alien's mining expeditions is rising every day, secret police patrols the streets 24/7, medicine is running low, drinking water is scarce and news of epidemics ranging from ebola to influenza across the globe are reported on a daily basis. The little resources of the planet gave the aliens little opportunity for mining, so they turned to us, humans for the needed energy the strive for. They took a majority of the population and sealed them into huge camps, where the slowly, one by one turned them into living batteries, supplying the alien forces with much-needed power. Those who were deemed worthy enough or plainly not worth the time were allowed to roam around, paying tribute to the alien invaders and working for them in factories, labs or garages, in mildly habitable cities that are closely patrolled by alien forces. There have been many attempts for a revolution, but all were crushed and those who show even the slightest sign of rebellion are taken and executed on the spot.

    You may start in:

-New New York. (Earth, America) -Lots of workers, lots of food, lots of materials, police activity: 96%, chance of rebellion: 2%

-Domed London. (Earth, England) -Lots of researchers, lots of food, little materials, police activity: 56%, chance of rebellion: 24%

-Cairo. (Earth, Egypt) -Lots of workers, little food, little materials, police activity: 43%, chance of rebellion: 67%

-Beijing. (Earth, China) -Lots of workers, lots of food, little materials, police activity: 89%, chance of rebellion: 34%

-Cape Town. (Earth, South Africa) -Very little workers, little food, lots of materials, police activity: 23%, chance of rebellion: 87%

-Mining outpost 1. (Moon, North Pole) -Lots of workers, little food, lots of materials, police activity: 100% (military controlled), chance of rebellion: 0%

-Research Station 5. (Earth, Antarctica) -Lots of researchers, lots of food, lots of materials, police activity: 100% (military controlled), chance of rebellion: 0%

    Goal:

    1. Trigger a revolution and ovethrow the alien regime and establish a united Earth government.

    2. Find a way to overthrow the alien Empire outright.

    You may start as:

-A scientist. Perks: Very smart and good with firearms; disadvantages: Bad with hand-to-hand combat, very wimpy

-An engineer. Perks: Not as smart as the scientist, can repair stuff more easily; disatvantages: Bad at combat

-A soldier. Perks: Very powerfull, good at combat; disadvantages: Not too smart

-A scavanger. Perks: Sneaky, good at hand-to-hand combat; disadvantages: not trustworthy

There ya go, pick a character and have at it.

    EDIT: Dammit.

I'll start out on the moon because yay the moon, also free food.

    I'll be an engineer.

I engineer a new way to lock threads, the lock button had been destroyed in the wars and it was thought impossible to ever lock game threads again. But now there is a way.

(btw story game threads like this are just harder to figure out and moderate, and tend to only be played by a very few select people. That is why I lock them. Random players can't just join the game for a few posts like they can in other game threads. You are free to make a group where you can have all the game threads / story game threads you want though :P)
