So I have been having trouble making Filt that you can't see when Deco is on, but doesn't affect the particales that come out when using Cray. I am not sure how drakide managed to do it in his videos. Anyone know?

Maybe the FILT drakide is using is set to a different tmp value. Use the PROP tool to set the tmp of the FILT to 6.

edit: Ok yeah I am stumped too. I have no idea why his INSL isnt affected by the decoration layer. Until someone comes along with the answer, I would just copy the pieces of filt/cray from his save and use them.

edit2: Ok I figured it out. Set the FILT deco to 1,1,1 instead of 0,0,0. So it's pretty much black, but not quite.

the only DECO color that affects FILT is black.  if you set a custom color with RGB values of 1,0,0 it will not actually be black, it will be super dark a human cant tell ist red, red.  and thusly appear invisible to us but the game wont color anything going thru the FILT

Thanks Sandwhich! I thought I used the color sampling tool on it, must have done something wrong.

Edit; Oh and thanks Synergy too, I didn't read you second edit.
