Problem with TTAN/GOLD

I was messing around with some metals one day and put a 3-pixel width length of TTAN 2-pixels away from a 3-pixel length of GOLD. When I sparked the TTAN, the GOLD got repeatedly sparked, even though SPRK can't jump 2-pixels. I tried this for other metals, none worked. Is this happening for anyone else and if so, why?

Yes, this happened to me, too. Strange how when you spark the GOLD it doesn't get transferred to the TTAN but when TTAN is sparked the GOLD recieves it ._.

Spark can jump to gold if there is exactly 3 pixels between the spark and the GOLD. This is intentional

So it's sort of a short-range WIFI or ARAY.

    I guess.

It can even go through INSL, and you can use this to make faster 2-bit wires by alternating insl and gold

GOLD conducts faster than most materials, but if you make a GOLD wire with two pixel spaces between each GOLD pixel you could make a very fast wire. I should try that now, in fact...

EDIT: Yeah, you need a TTAN and a GOLD pixel, otherwise it won't conduct :P

EDIT2: Interesting, I tested the idea against an ordinary GOLD wire, and both conducted at the same pace .-.
