What is compressed deutrium?

As the thread title says, I have heard a lot about it, but I do not know what it is exactly. Is it deuterium under pressure? or is it what happens when you type that ridiculous console command? I am also curious as to if there is a way to keep deuterium in a tight container without it blowing up after a short time.

Ah, I think the light at the end of the tunnel is just a swarm of neutrons coming off a bomb. and as for my second question? Is having a stable bomb with tightly contained deuterium even possible? and if not, is there another way to increase pressure with heat or another side effect of a nuclear reaction? I'm trying to make the neutrons from my bomb spread out more quickly as opposed to the plasma and molten mess somehow going faster.

I have just applied these principles to my current bomb and it increased the destructive capability tenfold, now as for the protons, my current bomb is a simple fusion-fission hybrid like most RL nukes, so in game it mostly uses neutrons. How would I produce the protons required to maximize my bombs effectiveness?

DEUT react with protons in the same way it reacts with neutrons. a few protons will set off a chain reaction making more protons. how are you producing neutrons?

I am using C4 to pressurize a ton of PLUT with some DEUT in the casing as well.

yes pressurizing PLUT makes NEUT. PHOT through HYGN makes PROT. probably wont help you at all.

another way of producing neutrons is to use a casing of TNT inside your DEUT charge and have BCLN in it which is set to NEUT.
