    TL;DR:
    IRC is like a place with many chatting rooms called channels.
    TPT has an official channel there called #powder.
    If you want to join it, Click here, choose a nickname that represents you, confirm you are not a robot via the reCAPTCHA thing and then press connect to connect to the server and automatically join the powder toy IRC channel.

    You can chat there about anything, even things that are not related to the game, just make sure you follow these rules
