A user named Preset brought this idea to my attention while asking if it was possible to PM (private message) users in-game. I am just bringing it up as an idea that may be useful since people use comment windows to chat, which is not necessarily an ideal location for chatting.

I propose to bring chat windows and/or user online status to TPT. Now of course there are some other features or complications that may arrise from such an idea being chat windows. A global chat may cause problems if the appropriate moderation is not there, along with people using the TPT for non-game related personal needs (love, or "love").

Global chats have ups and downs. It is noticed that members of TPT have established clubs, a private group chat would be useful for these clubs.

Now to speak of private messaging. The thing is with PMs is that such implementation would require features such as a friends list or a list, and of course an ignore list.

So, what do y'all think? Would this be a good idea? I do think this should be tried as a beta feature, and whether the community likes it, it will stay or go.
But the problem with my beta idea is that if half like it and half don't, and it gets removed, half the people will be mad.
