Notifications.

I had an idea a while back about subscribing, but here is a feature that would be really useful.
@mentions. When people mention others inside a chat, the mentioned person should be notified. Maybe a new notification panel.

When someone gets mentioned, they are able to respond quickly to the question someone asks. For instance, if someone is asking to use something in a save, the person would not even know, and would need to check every save to see if there are any comments for him.

Another add-on to that idea is possibly a reply button, to avoid typing the persons name every time. Either it would fill it into the textbox for them, or a system where it would avoid spamming of @name every message. Maybe parenting comments can solve that.

This feature is definatly needed in the community. If you cannot implement this feature, please do this backup idea. Next to your own saves, there should be a sign that indicates that there are unread comments inside your save. So, if a mention system is too sophisticated and you don't want to design a new UI/GUI or something, at least make an indicator.
    Thanks.

Humph. It is even a nice idea, really reasonable.

But, I think there also should be an option with disabling mentions on saves.

In my mod, you can click on a username to insert something like "TheExus: " in the message. I thought about changing it to @ mentions, but maybe i'll wait and see if I actually code something like this.
The main blocking issue is that this requires server side changes. Even though I have the website code now, I don't have the ability to update the site, and Simon hasn't updated the site with the changes I made months ago yet. He actually tried doing some of the XSS fixes himself, even though his way is still incorrect ...

So, I do think this would be useful, but in the current state it can't happen.

Alright, do it when you can. Just keep it in mind. Thanks.
