I was playing around with the game recently and thought "I will just make a steady wind and let stuff get blown by it"
So I created a small piece of VENT and turned the air sim mode to "no update" and threw some powder at it.
At first I didnt notice anything and just messed around until I pressed 0.
When I pressed 0, I noticed that falling powder would indeed leave trails in the air that indicate air velocity, even though it should not update, right?
Then I detonated a bunch of TNT and it remained as a red spot, again disobeying the rule of "no update".
Now, there is the very real possibility that I simply did not understand what "no update" means in this context but still, I have to ask:
Is this a bug?
I think your and my definition of updated is actually not the same.
In my eyes, "No update" should cause no air pressure to be generated whatsoever/to be changed whatsoever, however, both are possible.
Isn't there an "Off" mode? This is what are you talking about.
Also, off topic, why do we have OXYG? If Empty wasn't oxygen, then nothing would burn, also if it would really be empty, it would create a vacuum. I think.
Another example of how TPT isn't super realistic, but is lots of fun anyways :D
I was thinking about making a mod where things like flashovers can occur, but it seems very difficult to make.
