Do saves with lua elements show up

Do they show up in the save browser and just load without the elements? Or do they not show up at all?
Also, I remember hearing something about embedding lua scripts in saves. Is that a thing?

The lua elements wouldn't be rendered. If someone that has the element loads the save, it would show up.
You can embed lua scripts in my mod, but not on official. I think someone submitted a script to the script manager today that does the same thing, but I haven't had time to look at it yet. -
If I embed a script in your mod, I assume it won't work in the official. Right?
