Voltage

This isn't really a element (but it comes with some)
So basicly you create a new toggle icon that enables/disables this (could muck up all the epic computers)
    When its enabled:
Generator outputs a certain voltage depending on how fast materials are running through it.
Spark: Scrolling mouse increases/decreases the sparks volatage
HUD: Next to heat/pressure HUDS when you hover over conductives it gives a voltage reading.
Battery: Two new elements (your scientists, so what would be the base elements in battery) and when one of them gets voltage it glows and if it is touching the other element creates battery... Then when battery is discharging (Trying to think of a way to set the voltage it gives off) it changes back into these two elements.
Element: (ELEM) When voltage is connected it gives off heat.
And please remove the fact that electricity in metal generates heat (my sub is smoking)

For the last part, just put some foam around your metal.

That is how it works in real life. Resistance transforms into heat.

True... But i dont think wiring a sub with a couple of cables would vaporize the a couple 1000 cubic meters of water ethier...
