Vocabulary:
Trail - When SPRK moves from pixel to pixel every frame
Instant - A SPRK signal being instantly sent from point A to point B
Spectra - The 29 bits of data held within the color value (ctype) for FILT, PHOT, BRAY, or BIZR
Condensed Trail Cable - "CTC","CT-Cable"
A lattice of PTCT, NTCT, INWR, and METL are bundled in a wire, allowing for four lines of trail transmission within a width of two pixels.
GOLD-INSL Interlace Cable - "GIC","GIIC","GI-Cable"
A line of alternating GOLD and INSL, allowing for two lines of (double speed) trail transmission within the width of a single pixel. This is due to GOLD conducts SPRK from exactly four pixels away in any cardinal direction, ignoring INSL
WIFI - "WiFi"
Should be used exclusively in saves that are not meant to showcase electronics, as a method to initiate something analog.
Long-Distance CRAY - "LDC","Cray/Spark"
CRAY with a ctype of SPRK (And TMP of 1, preferrably) can induce an instant SPRK over any distance (Defined by TMP2) and through any material when sparked by INWR.
Spectra Transmission -
Storage of information in the spectra of PHOT or BRAY to then be moved across a distance.
Protocols:
Raw Spectra -
Raw binary data is directly placed onto spectra. This method is not recommended, as trying to assigm a spectra value of zero (0x00000000) will cause FILT to default to a value of 31 (0x0000001F), and kill PHOT particles and BRAY beams
Signal Bit Spectra - "SBS"
Assigning a single bit (usually bit 28, bit 27, or both) to be set in every transmission so that the spectra will never technically equal zero. The signal bit is ignored upon receiving the data.
Data Management Protocol - "DMP"
A protocol intended for use in data requests within a device. Bit 28 is a read request, and bit 27 is a write request (having both or neither of these bits set can cause unintended activity), bits 0-26 are for addressing. If the Read bit is set, the data volume is expected to read the data at the defined address and output it via its Data Out port. If the Write bit is set, the data volume is expected to write the value last received on its Data In port to the given address.
Signal-Bit Data Management Protocol - "SDMP","SBDMP","Signalled DMP"
A variation of DMP that assigns bit 27 as a signal bit. Read requests are marked by bit 28 being unset, and Write requests are marked by bit 28 being set.
Device Networking Protocol - "DNP","Internet"
A protocol capable of being trasmitted over any medium. For spectra, a packet is sent within a single ray. For any other medium, the bits are sent one by one over time in trail. The first four bits of a packet signify a recipient's address, the next four bits define the sender's address, all following bits are data.
Anonymous Networking Protocol - "ANP","ADNP"
A variation of DNP where a device sending a packet is not required or expected to give a return address, meaning the packet header is only four bits, instead of eight.
