Just like the heat view I think there should be a thermal view, basically exactly the same however the minimum value (What is pure white) is whatever the coldest poinnt of the simulation is and the hottest point (Orangey white) what ever is the hottest in the simulation.

And it will adapt like a thermal imaging camera.
